One Tbsp. (7g) of corn starch thickens 1 cup (250ml) of liquid.

Directions: To thicken hot liquids, first mix GoBIO! Organic Corn Starch with a little cold liquid/water to a smooth paste. Gradually add paste to hot liquid stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Boil for about a minute until liquid thickens and becomes clear. Remove from heat.

Twice the thickening power of flour, corn starch is used as a thickener for sauces, gravies, soups, stews, puddings, fruit pie fillings and many more culinary uses.
