Thank you so much for the great service. I have had better luck with the sunflower seed micrgoreens, making the following changes and continuing to pre-sprout, weigh down and spray with hydrogen peroxide (though only as seeds/sprouts before they start to really grow as it was not food grade):
- for starters the air is dryer
- I either put blocks between the 2 trays or put a shallow tray on top of a deep tray for air circulation
- added bottom heat both day and night
They are still tricky and harvesting takes time but I am pleased. I think they will be a seasonal thing for my operation in the driest months.

A quick note to say how vigorous the Italian Calabrese Don Vito broccoli
seeds grow.
The previous USA broccoli seeds were good but these Italian seeds are
exemplary. The Calabrese seeds produce 20-30% more eatable sprouts.

Wheatgrass Sprouting Tip
Wheatgrass juice is predominantly chlorophyll. Each chlorophyll molecule has a magnesium atom at its centre. In order for the wheatgrass sprout to flourish it needs a ready supply of magnesium atoms. I achieve this by mixing one teaspoon (5ml) of Epsom salts with one litre of water and using this mild Epsom water solution for soaking and watering my sprouts. As the Epsom salt molecule is comprised of magnesium, sulphur and oxygen it has many benefits in addition to forming chlorophyll. The sulphur strengthens the sprout so that it better resists disease and mold and the abundance of oxygen accelerates growth of chlorophyll. I have also learned that the magnesium makes the wheatgrass taste sweeter.

I’d like to order more as we live on a farm with horses, cows and other domestic animals and I feel the need to stock up (just this morning a goose was attacked by a large bald eagle — he is injured and I’ve given the farmer a spray bottle with HP 3% for it’s water and hopefully to spray on it’s injury.. I am so impressed with this product, your company and service.. thank you for making it easy to get this stuff to the people who can use it properly to help us all heal.

I just finished my first batch of kombucha with the help of Sproutmaster. My scoby, heat pad, black tea, pH strips and hydrogen peroxide all arrived in super fast time, barely 24 hours after I placed my order.
